Miibu has an optimistic attitude, and is always eager to please. He can be naieve at times. His family and education are some of the few things he takes serioiusly.

Thanato is an introvert, and is untrusting of strangers. He loves music, singing, and playing the violin. He can overcome his shyness when performing.

Birthday: 1/14
Though Maya is intelligent, she never speaks. She has an innocent, curious nature. Despite being the second oldest, all the genlings think of her as a little sister.

#05 Yuan

Birthday: 2/4
Like Thanato, Yuan enjoys music. Even though she is cute and gentle, she has a high esteem of herself and doesn't take crap from anyone.

#06 Asher

Birthday: 2/11
Asher is a quiet and obedient computer geek. He can be cynical at times, but enjoys showing off his intelligence by helping others. His nickname is PDF, a pun on his love of computers and his poison dart frog DNA.

#25 Stanton

Birthday: 6/30
Stanton has a large, intimidating build. He's actually kind and easy to talk to. He's laid back and is usually easy to manipulate.

#39 Fai

Birthday: 10/6
Fai is a fun loving prankster. He loves pushing buttons and crossing lines. Even though he's harmless and caring, his name is synonymous with mischief.

#49 Rokeby

Birthday: 12/15
Rokeby is one of the most level headed genlings. He's intelligent, reliable, always prepared, and very boring. Oddly, Fai considers him his best friend.

Humans

Susan Gill

Susan was Miibu's first friend. She's outspoken and has liberal ideals. Susan considers heself Miibu's big sister, and teaches him all things cultural.

Timothy James

A math teacher at his school, Mr. James takes an interest in Miibu's education and well being. He's one of the few adults Miibu confides in. James eventually adopts Miibu as his son.

Anne Gill

Susan's mother is an independant, single working mom. She becomes involved with the genlings via her daughter's friendship with Miibu. She acts very motherly toward the genlings, especially Thanato.

Dr. Gerald

The creator of the genlings, Dr. Gerald is a crazed geneticist. He's extemely inteligent, but unethical. His calm demenor masks his insanity.

Dr. Fredrick

Gerald's asistant, Frederick is an unintelligent doctor. Frederick wanted to be involved in genetic research, but was turned down by LTech's main department. He kept quiet about Gerald's illegal research so that he could simply keep his job.

Dr. Dominick

A former student, Dominick disliked Gerald's unethical views and cut all ties with LTech. He became a very successful geneticists without being influenced by pharmaceutical companies. Dominick cares for the genling's health needs after they are discovered.

Maureen Hayes

Hayes is the head of the Social Services department in Liberty Valley, which includes all child welfare. She places the genlings in foster homes. She cares greatly for the genilngs, but has to juggle all finacial issues concerning them, which often makes her appear apathetic toward their needs.

Andrew

Andrew is a fellow high school student with Susan, Miibu, and Thanato. He and Miibu are both on the basketbal team, and he is Miibu's best source of guy advice.

Emily

Another high schooler, Emily is intrigued and inspired by the genlings. She introduces Thanato to music and encourages his love for it.
